As research shows working out gets your heart rate up and this helps t o strengthen your heart and how well it works to pump blood through your body. Working out not only benefits your muscles and mental health but also plays a big role in keeping your heart healthy. Having a healthy heart is having a heart that is able to pump the appropriate amount of blood through your body as your body begins to work harder and need more fuel. Your body uses the blood to carry the nutrients throughout your body so you can perform to the best of your ability and without a strong pumping heart your body would not get what it needs to be able to perform.

Not only does working help your heart pump faster but according to kaiserpermanente.org it also can help to improve cholesterol. If your cholesterol gets to high it can lead to cardiovascular disease. Working out also helps to lower blood pressure and if your blood pressure gets to high it can cause heart disease and will prevent your heart for working as long as it would be able to without high blood pressure.

As stated by kaiserpermanente.org not working out can double the risk of a person gaining cardiovascular disease which is often deadly and hard to come back from. The best way to prevent this disease and others is to get some form of exercise everyday whether its cardio or lifting or other activities.
